Children in their Easter finery,
Carrying baskets,
Hunting colored orbs,
Three-thousand years of patriarchy,
Horrified parents,
Would hustle them inside,
If they knew,
For thirty-thousand years prior,
Eggs symbolized the Divine Feminine,
The Goddess,
Rebirth,
Regeneration,
Instead of a dead man resurrected from a cross

Cruising in a snazzy, black Corvette,
Top off,
Silver mane blowing,
Christ has risen.
